When I was at the NY Knicks Poetry Slam competition for young writers/poets during the winter time, there was a sick DJ at the beginning of the show and this song was playing and I so badly wanted to check it out again after the show but I didn’t know the name of it…so in hopes that I could somehow find the song I remembered the only lyrics that stuck out: “people see me but they just don’t know…” I typed those words into the ”notepad” section of my phone and I haven’t revisited it again until this morning. I set out in search for this song by typing those exact words into the google search bar. Low and behold, the FIRST result was this video. Yay!
